This thesis was under guidance Bahrani M.Pd as the first advisor and Dr. Mujahidah M.Si as the second advisor.
Everyone who has memorized the Holy Qur’an 30 juz naturally must memorize using the following senses, namely visual (sight), auditory (hearing), kinesthetic (movement), olfactory (feeling), and gustatory (tasting) or which then abbreviated as VAKOG. This sense of each person is different but of the five senses there are usually senses whose function is more dominant. Although dominant, but does not eliminate the function of others. When to know the learning style in memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the inhibiting factors memorizing the Holy Qur’an for students at seventh semester of International Class.
In this research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative, comes from also interview, in this study primary data obtained by researcher from students at seventh semester of International Class Islamic Studies Program 2016 of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Samarinda. While secondary data of documentation such as photo interviews and data absent daily rote deposits. The instrument of the research are interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques used reduction, data display and conclusion.
Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that: there are 37% students memorized the Holy Qur’an by auditory, 34.2% students memorized the Holy Qur’an by visual, 23% students memorized the Holy Qur’an by kinesthetic, 4,6% students memorized the Holy Qur’an by a combination between visual and auditory, and the last style is 0,92% students memorized the Holy Qur’an by a combination between visual and kinesthetic. There is also inhibiting factors students when memorized the Holy Qur’an, have difficulties to lazy manage the time to add memorization the Holy Qur’an and repeat, a lack of motivation, no seriousness and strong determination, the influence of gadget and no supervising.
